GENERAL QUESTIONS
What exactly is Solidap?
Solidap is a notification system designed for appointment-based businesses that want to recover revenue from cancelled or rescheduled appointments.
When an earlier appointment slot becomes available, Solidap automatically notifies customers who have requested earlier availability.
If a customer accepts the opening, your staff simply moves the appointment inside your existing scheduling system.
Solidap does not replace your scheduler and never modifies your calendar automatically.
What problem does Solidap solve?
Many appointment-based businesses lose revenue when customers cancel or move appointments.
Across service industries:
• Appointment no-show rates often range between 5%–30%
• Many small businesses lose thousands of dollars per month in unused appointment time
• Once an appointment slot passes, the revenue opportunity is gone
Solidap helps businesses recover that lost revenue automatically.
Does Solidap replace my scheduling software?
No.
Solidap works alongside your existing scheduling system.
You keep using your current scheduler.
Solidap simply detects openings and notifies customers who requested earlier availability.
Does Solidap create or reschedule appointments automatically?
No.
Solidap never creates, cancels, or modifies appointments.
Your staff always confirms the appointment inside your existing scheduling system.

Typical setup steps include:
Connect your calendar
Add the EARLY keyword to reminder messages or display your QR code
Customers begin joining the waitlist
After that, Solidap begins monitoring automatically.
HOW SOLIDAP WORKS
How does Solidap know when an appointment opens?
Solidap connects to your calendar using read-only access.
Supported calendars:
• Google Calendar
• Microsoft Outlook
When an appointment is cancelled or moved, Solidap detects the newly available slot.
How do customers join the early appointment waitlist?
Customers opt in by sending the keyword:
EARLY
to the Solidap phone number assigned to your business.
They can do this by:
• replying to a reminder message that includes the EARLY keyword
• scanning your Solidap QR code
• clicking a pre-filled SMS link
Opt-in is voluntary.
What happens after a customer texts EARLY?
Customers are guided through a short SMS flow where they provide:
• preferred days
• preferred time windows
• their current appointment date and time
This allows Solidap to determine if a newly opened slot is actually earlier than their existing appointment.
How does Solidap decide who receives an offer?
When a slot opens, Solidap identifies customers who match:
• preferred days
• preferred time windows
• earlier appointment eligibility
The system sends notifications to a small group of matching customers.
What happens when a customer replies YES?
The system immediately locks the slot and identifies the first accepted response.
Your staff receives a notification containing:
• customer name
• customer phone number
• original appointment time
• new earlier slot time
Your staff confirms the change inside your scheduling system.
What if multiple customers reply YES?
Solidap uses a winner-lock system.
The first valid YES response secures the slot.
All later responses receive a message that the slot has already been claimed.
What happens if a customer replies after the offer expires?
If the slot is already taken or the offer has expired, the customer will receive a message informing them that the slot is no longer available.
How long do offers remain valid?
Offers typically remain valid for up to 60 minutes.
After that, the offer expires.
What happens to the customer's original appointment?
If a customer accepts an earlier slot, their original appointment becomes open.
That opening can also be offered to other waitlist customers.
CALENDAR CONNECTION
What calendars are supported?

• Microsoft Outlook
These connections are read-only.
Solidap cannot modify your calendar.
Can Solidap work with multiple staff members?
Yes.

The system automatically adapts depending on how your calendar is structured.
What if my business uses one shared calendar?

Can Solidap detect staff vacations or unavailable time?
Yes.
Solidap checks for calendar events such as:
• Vacation
• Out of Office
• Blocked time
• Closed
• Holiday
If an opening overlaps with unavailable time, the system will not send offers.
What if my calendar disconnects?
